The Federal Council for Sustainable Development is committed to making his/her website accessible, in accordance with the law of 19 July 2018 on accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public authorities.
This accessibility statement applies to the website: https://www.frdo-cfdd.be
Compliance status
This website is partially accessible because of the non-conformities and exemptions listed below. The accessibility audit conducted in 2025 stated that our site is “partially compliant”.
Preparation of this statement
An external accessibility audit was carried out. This consisted of a simplified analysis. Its report is available here: (NL) https://reports.accessibility.belgium.be/ac/2025/be/simplified/frdo-cfdd.be-26e59b0b/2025-07-04.nl.html , (FR) https://reports.accessibility.belgium.be/ac/2025/be/simplified/frdo-cfdd.be-26e59b0b/2025-07-04.fr.html .
Non-accessible content
The content below is not accessible because of the following reason(s):
- All documents on our website are not accessible in the same way. We aim to make all documents accessible. For less recent documents, this may not always be the case. Among other things, we strive to make references via links as transparent as possible.
- Many of the documents on our site are in PDF form. These include opinions. We are working retroactively to create web pages for all opinions.
- Our videos are not all subtitled yet, or they are subtitled in a different national language than the speakers in the video.
Suggested alternatives
We will retrospectively screen all content on our website as much as possible to further improve its accessibility. We started creating web pages for our opinions, most of which were only available in PDF form. Starting from the 2025 opinions, we are working backwards in time.

Improvement plan
We will be working permanently to improve our revamped website. The accessibility of the site will be improved in the process. Our opinions are our primary focus in this regard. They are our most important product, and we are working to make our opinions accessible via web pages (not just via PDF). This will be done retroactively, starting in 2025.
